From the Loft

As the vacation drew to an end in this New Hampshire log house, the inspirtation for this painting began.  Enjoy a glimpse of Mount Washington through the gorgeous gabled windows.   This unique perspective from the second-floor loft highlights the towering windows as seen through the impressive wooden beams of the cathedral ceiling.  The very first tinges of autumn color appear in the trees and the sky is streaked pink as day ends.
